The Community Digital Arts Hub (CDAH) is a digital media space based in Montreal, Quebec. We offer affordable studio and equipment rentals to local artists, community groups, and arts & heritage organizations.

Land Recognition

CDAH is located on unceded lands of the Kanien’kehá:ka Nation. Tiohtià:ke, the original name for Montreal in Kanien’kéha, is historically known as a gathering place for many First Nations. The Kanien’kehá:ka Nation is recognized as the custodians of the lands and waters on which we work. Tiohtià:ke today is home to a diverse population of Indigenous and other peoples, the community that CDAH serves. Our history together is woven tightly, and CDAH is engaged and invested in our collective future to move forward together.

As a space that aims to make digital media accessible to our community, we recognize the colonial history related to the digital media industry and the silencing of Indigenous artists, organizations, voices, and issues historically within media. We are open to feedback and opportunities to reconcile this colonial history through media projects and media support.
