CASA, established in 1975, is a non-profit community organization dedicated to serving the English-speaking population of the Gaspé Coast by representing the community’s interests and designing and delivering programs that respond to its needs.

From Chic-Choc to TikTok

This four-session mentorship circle covered video and audio best practices and content creation for official websites, YouTube and other social media. From Chic-Choc to TikTok, participants brought to life compelling and relevant moments that showcase the Gaspésie/Iles-de-la-Madeleine, and those who call the region home. Mentor Kevin Bottaro focused on encouraging more content to be produced on Bonfyre Media, CASA’s local digital platform.

  • A series of Social Media Strategy workshops were given to CASA’s Social media coordinator. These sessions resulted in a Strategy document and deeper understanding of goals, branding and values that are the foundations of an organization’s social media story.

  • Mentor Kevin Bottaro and 12 content creators reviews best practices for social media, shared experiences and reviewed Bonfyre Media, CASA’s local digital platform.

  • Audio Technician Tyler Rauman updated CASA’s DAW - Digital Audio Work Station and provided upgrades and tips on soundproofing. A How To video was made for CASA technicians to learn about the DAW.
